🤠🐴 Would you rather...

Own your dream horse?
OR
Own your dream barn

Some mornings, I stand here and it still feels like a dream.

This journey hasn’t been easy. It’s been filled with tears, sweat, setbacks, sacrifice, and more prayers than I could ever count. There were days I wanted to quit, and still are lol but God whispers, “Keep going.”

The little girl who prayed for a barn, horses, and a place where people could find hope could have never imagined what God would do. “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” (Ephesians 3:20).

Today, this place is no longer just about a dream fulfilled, it’s about making someone else’s dream possible. It’s about the child who can’t afford riding lessons, the teenager searching for hope, the woman trying to rebuild her life, and the families praying for a miracle.

Every horse has a purpose. Every child who walks through these gates has a purpose. And every answered prayer reminds me that God never wastes a single tear.

Freely you have received; freely give. Matthew 10:8

My prayer now isn’t even for bigger barns anymore, it’s for bigger hearts, open doors, and the resources to keep saying “yes” to the ones God sends. Because someone else’s miracle may begin with a prayer… just like mine did.

Will you partner with us today to make these dreams come true for another child? We are looking for sponsors for children to be able to participate in our 8 week FBEAP sessions . We have many ways to give financially on DHRR.org and not only that but you can give your time by volunteering with us or by praying and sharing our journey with your friends and family! Thank you!

Some weeks test your faith. Some weeks bring you to your knees. But those are often the moments when God reminds you that He has never left, and He has been working behind the scenes the entire time.

This has been one of the most mentally exhausting weeks we have experienced since opening Dark Horse Rescue Ranch. There have been hard decisions, major changes, and moments where we had to lean completely on the Lord for strength and direction.

Then God reminded us… He is always in the details.

Last night, we were incredibly honored to receive a grant from the Bachman Foundation that will provide scholarships for youth to participate in our 8-week EAL/FBEAP mentorship program. This is so much more than a grant. This is an opportunity for kids in our community to walk through our gates, build relationships, find healing, discover their identity, and experience the hope that only Jesus can provide. They will walk out changed for life. Just like many others have done. We have so many success stories from here. Story after story!

We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to Cleveland Community Chapel for their generous donation given in memory of Larry Daugherty. Larry was a wonderful man who believed in the mission of DHRR and helped fight for our cause. His legacy will continue to impact lives through this ranch, and we are honored to carry that forward.

What makes these gifts even more meaningful is the timing. Both of these blessings came during some of the hardest weeks we have faced since beginning this journey. When we felt tired, God sent encouragement. When we questioned the path, God reminded us He called us here. When we needed confirmation, He provided.

God will always provide what is needed to accomplish what He has called us to do.

To the Bachman Foundation, Cleveland Community Chapel, and every church, supporter, volunteer, and prayer warrior who has stood beside DHRR we thank you. You are not just supporting a ranch; you are investing in lives, families, and the Kingdom of God.

🤍And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19🤍Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us. Ephesians 3:20🤍

We will keep moving forward. We will keep rescuing, restoring, and redeeming. One horse. One child. One person. One life at a time.

Ministry isn’t always easy, but Galatians 6:9 reminds us, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

All glory belongs to Him. ❤️

Our prayer has always been that everyone who comes through our gates leaves with a little more hope than they came with. God is still writing stories of redemption at Dark Horse Rescue Ranch, and we're honored to witness them every day. 🐴✝️🤍
