Our passion for dog began 15 years ago when we brought our first beautiful dog home (golden retriever puppy) She taught our family so much about love, loyalty and patience, and left a lasting impression on our hearts. We wanted to share our experience with other families looking for their perfect canine match, by breeding golden retrievers with outstanding temperaments, and unparalleled health! We expanded our program to include labrador retriever puppies just 6 years after. We have since fallen completely in love with our joyful, easy going labs! We raise all of our puppies with the care and attention that they deserve, and begin training and socialization from the moment they are born. Our puppies are loving, intelligent, gentle, obedient, and healthy. We specialize in breeding healthy pups from health-tested parents with excellent temperaments. All parents have at least the following health testing: OFA Fair-Good-Excellent hips and Normal elbows, clear DNA on Embark’s broadest-in-the-industry test panel, and comparison of parents’ DNA to predict if pups would have lower (better) genetic Coefficients Of Inbreeding than the breed average. What this means is that aside from not inheriting any of the genes for genetic diseases for which tests currently exist on Embark’s panel, these puppies’ chances of inheriting from both parents the same recessive genes for health problems for which no DNA tests are yet available (such as cancer, kidney disease, etc.) are potentially significantly reduced. Every one of our pup usually have his or her own Embark DNA testing to confirm the low gCOI predictions.
