To close out the summer, we’ve got .

We’ve been a fan of Joe’s comedy for years.

He’s one of those comedians who can take a completely ordinary topic, look at it from an angle nobody else would think of, and leave you wondering how he got there.

Some comics are storytellers, some are crowd work killers, Joe is a joke writer in the purest sense.

Every setup, every turn, every punchline feels carefully crafted without ever feeling forced.

He’s appeared on The Tonight Show, Conan, Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, and is a regular favorite among NateLand listeners. His special Cult Classic was directed by Nate Bargatze.

More importantly, he’s just ridiculously funny.

We couldn’t think of a better way to close out this year’s Hoots & Hollers lineup.

Welcome to One More Joke: A Cleveland Comedy Showcase!

Hosted by & of Henceforth Comedy, One More Joke is evolving to highlight some of Northeast Ohio’s most promising up-and-coming comedians and touring professionals while keeping the unpredictable energy that made the show a local favorite with one-minute bucket sets.

Each week features a curated lineup of rising comics performing longer showcase sets in front of you, the audience, giving Cleveland’s next generation of stand-up talent a chance to prove how funny they are.

Plus, throughout the night, a handful of comedians will be randomly selected from the bucket to perform a one-minute set. Whether it’s a future headliner testing a new joke or a comic taking their first shot on stage, anything can happen when your name gets called.

The result is a fast-paced comedy showcase with just enough unpredictability to keep everyone on the edge of your seats.

No cover + Cheap drinks + Great comics = the perfect way to shorten your week

🚨 Headliner Announcement 🚨

has dropped into a few of our Late Night shows, and as we were gameplanning this year’s lineup at her name immediately came up, and we couldn’t stop talking about how much fun she’d be in a room like the Palace Theatre.

Some comedians are sharp writers, some comedians bring energy and are funny off the cuff, Anjelica is one of those comics where the audience is thinking “Are these jokes written or is she riffing?

She’s one of those performers who walks onstage and instantly changes the temperature of the room.

She’s been named a Just For Laughs New Face, her Don’t Tell Comedy special is a hit, and she recently started appearing on shows with Dave Chappelle.

In other words: we were excited to book her before all of that happened, and we’re even more excited to bring her to America’s Comedy Coast.
