Last week, partners from across South Carolina gathered at the South Carolina Botanical Garden for the South Carolina 7 expedition, exploring the Natural Heritage Garden and learning more about the critical role botanical gardens play in plant conservation and biodiversity protection. 🌱

The day highlighted how collaboration among universities, conservation organizations, state agencies and community partners can advance the preservation of South Carolina’s natural heritage for future generations.

A special thank you to the SCBG team, the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, SC7, the Center for Plant Conservation and all the partners who contributed their expertise and enthusiasm. Together, we are strengthening conservation efforts and demonstrating the power of partnership in protecting some of our region’s most valuable natural resources. 🤝
