An era at Clemson is coming to an end. On May 7th, 2023 the Underground Recreation Center will permanently close its doors after serving Clemson University for almost 50 years. As of now, the University does not have any plans to rebuild or replace the Union.

If you have any bowling equipment stored at the URC we kindly ask that you swing by anytime between now and the first week of May to retrieve your items.

We are open Monday- Thursday between 9:30am-3:30pm for Leisure Skill classes and Monday-Sunday between 4pm-10pm for open recreation hours. Please check in with the front desk to check out your items.

Thank you all for your continued love and support of the Underground Recreation Center. We will truly miss our regulars and everyone else who walks through our doors.

As you start preparing for exams, keep in mind the URC offers FREE activities to everyone during exam week (12/11-12/15).

It’s Welcome Week at the URC! If you’re new to Clemson’s campus or looking for something fun to do, come by the URC from 6-10pm for ✨FREE✨ bowling, billiards and more.

Welcome week hours will be in effect until Saturday then our normal hours of operation will begin.
