You might've seen that we have a new fiddle contest on August 1st in Camp Wood, TX - we're also reviving a fiddle contest in DeLeon, TX on August 8th! 🎻

Some folks will remember there used to be a contest held at the Peach & Melon Festival.This year, we'll bring fiddling back to DeLeon in the High School Auditorium with air conditioning! 🆒🎉

🏆 There are 5 age divisions, the contest starts at 1pm! (Get there early to register if you plan to compete)

Texas Old Time Fiddlers Association Founded in 1973, the Texas Old Time Fiddlers Association (TOTFA) exists to promote and preserve Texas Style fiddling as a traditional artform. By hosting fiddling events such as contests and conventions, we hope to raise awareness of our unique historic style of music.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Dublin contest on June 13th, it was great to see lots of new faces and always good to see familiar fiddle friends. We appreciate everyone coming out to the revival of a contest in Dublin, TX and hope to improve and grow the event next year! ☘️🎻
