In active addiction, days would blur together, as the world around us maintained a calendar, we did what we had to to not become sick. Having crossed the Rubicon from social use to a life consuming ism, our standards of living progressively decreased as we sought substances over basic needs. The more we pushed off the inevitable, the more sick we became. Until a good day was just a conned meal from a sympathetic passersby, without any hassles.

Kindness need not be random. It can be a direct effort, when we choose to meet our brothers and sisters where they are and not where we necessarily want them to be.

Weekends are for intentional acts of kindness.

Pasco Service Saturday June 2026! Thank you to all the community volunteers, including local barbers for coming out and being of service! 16 camps reached, 55 recovery starter (hygiene/ narcanl) bags, 100+ doses of narcan distributed, and over 70 ppl connected with. As always the recovery community support for those most negatively impacted by the opioid epidemic is incredible.
