📚 Collaborative Labs at St. Petersburg College was proud to facilitate the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative (PPLC) 2026–2030 Strategic Planning Workshop on September 24, 2025!
👥 Library leaders, directors, and staff gathered to shape the future of library services in Pinellas County. The day was filled with 🤝 collaboration, 💡 innovation, and a shared commitment to 🌍 community impact.
What makes PPLC so special?
It’s a countywide network of 14 member libraries across 25 locations, offering:
• 📖 One library card for all locations
• 🎉 Free programs for all ages
• 💻 Online resources, 🧑‍🏫 tutoring, 🖨️ printing, and 🏢 meeting spaces
• 🧏 Services for the blind, deaf, and hard of hearing
• 🧰 Tools and even 🎸 ukuleles available for checkout!
Workshop Highlights:
• ♿ Inclusive Services: Commitment to serving all residents, including unincorporated areas and those who are blind, print-disabled, deaf, or hard of hearing.
• 🤝 Innovative Partnerships: Expanding collaborations with community organizations to broaden impact.
• 🔄 Resource Sharing: Leveraging countywide expertise and technology for seamless patron experiences.
• 📣 Unified Marketing: Amplifying the PPLC story and member library programs through coordinated campaigns and social media.
• 🗳️ Advocacy: Developing a proactive legislative agenda and empowering community advocates.
