Tru-Craft Machining

Haven't posted in awhile about my shop.
Starting a shop was the hardest and scariest thing I ever did. My last real job was supervisor for the R&D department at Moog Engine Controls, proud of that. Just got married, kid on the way and they laid us all off in about 4 months.😐 I had a mill, lathe, grinder and some tooling. Took out a loan bought some machines from Moog, went to auctions, bought broke machines and fixed them up.... I thought I knew it all being a supervisor but not even close. I contacted some of the local Aerospace and Medical companies and started getting work. Yep fu**ed up quoting, companies I supplied parts to went bankrupt and didn't pay, machines broke down, lost contracts.... I did survive but not an easy road. My boss is an as***le but he will never lay me off.😆
We are still making chips in America 🇺🇸
