The weather in Eastern North Carolina looks to be changing to an ice storm which could cause problems for many. If your car is liability only you do not have coverage on your policy to have it fixed. Your policy will cover the person you hit but not yours.

Here are also a few reminders to help you prepare -
Make sure you have propane for your gas grill or charcoal for your grill so you can cook if the power goes out.
Make sure you wrap outside water faucets with a towel and tape it to create heat if you do not have a faucet cover.
Leave a small drip in the faucet farthest away from where the water line comes into your home. This can help keep your pipes from freezing.
If your pipes do freeze then make sure you know where the water shut off is for your home and completely turn off the water.
Fill a bathtub with water so you can flush the toilet.
Make sure you charge your cell phones and Ipads and try to keep them at 100 percent in case the power does go out.
Make sure you have candles, playing cards and board games for family fun.
