Our hearts are heavy for our friends and neighbors in the Southeast who have been impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Helene.
In the wake of this terrible natural disaster, it lifts our spirits to see humans coming together to overcome great adversity.
There are many ways to help. We are still without internet at our main office but we’ll be sharing resources whenever we can.
Fall bookings are still on track and we’ll be donating a portion of the proceeds from this foraging tour season to aid with direct action efforts in WNC.
Sending love to all💚

Holy Jack O’Lanterns!🍄🟫🎃☠️
Found these beautiful but toxic Jack O’Lantern mushrooms during a botanical property survey for a private client near Blue Ridge. They are often mistaken for edible chanterelles.
We might get lucky and see some of these at our next Wildcraft & Wine Wild Mushroom Foray at Terra Incognita Vineyard Saturday 8/17. We’ve found a huge patch there before as well as many other wonderful species. Come join us for a wild mushroom walk in the woods with local wine and a light wild bite included!
