This year’s Stewardship Award is presented to: Scott Wilson at Paradise Village.

This award is available to supervisory staff who have served in their role for over one year. Established to honor the “cherish the business” Generations Value, recipients of this award exemplify the ethical and efficient use of company resources, funds, and labor. They also embrace innovation and showcase an entrepreneurial spirit.

Scott has been a valued member of Paradise Village for over 15 years, known for his consistency, honesty, and mentorship. He engages with residents, always attentive to their needs while sharing about himself. His pleasant demeanor and quick smile make residents feel important. With staff, Scott is supportive, joking, and open to new ideas and feedback. He is a dedicated worker who strives to do his best for the residents. 🌠💕

This year’s Robert W. White Vitality Award is presented to: Bill Reando at Paradise Village.

This award, named in honor of our President-Emeritus, recognizes individuals who exhibit exceptional dedication to promoting Vitality—encompassing whole-person wellbeing and growth—within a Generations campus. Recipients must effectively communicate and share the vision of Vitality, empower and inspire those around them, influence and advocate for positive wellness outcomes in others, and serve as role models for wellbeing.

Bill has been part of the Generations team for over a decade, embodying the vibrant culture of the organization. He is creative, engaged, and well-liked by both residents and staff. Bill has developed unique vitality programs, including classes with college professors, farmers market fairs, and innovative activities like conducting workouts for residents during COVID. Last year, he organized a Summer Olympics celebration for Paradise Village residents. His warmth, dedication, and commitment to fun significantly enhance the experience for a diverse and evolving population. 🌠💕

This year’s Mabel Maddock Service Award is presented to: Oscar Gomez at Paradise Village.

This award is available to staff members with over one year of service. Named in honor Wendell White’s excellence-driven grandmother, it recognizes individuals who demonstrate truly exceptional service to residents; value residents as unique individuals; foster a sense of being-at-home for residents; and are masters of service ‘wows’.

Oscar is an exceptionally kind and dedicated individual who deeply cares for our residents and property. He is compassionate, friendly, and always available to help, responding promptly to calls for assistance. During emergencies, he comforts residents and explains situations, like fire alarms. Oscar maintains a positive attitude under stress and exemplifies our mission. He regularly engages with residents, such as playing tennis, demonstrating his commitment to fostering a sense of home. Working with Oscar is a privilege, and he deserves recognition for his outstanding contributions at Paradise Village. 🌠💕

This year’s Wendell White Leadership Award is presented to: Kristin Porm at Fairfield Village!

This award is open to department directors/senior leadership. It is named in tribute to our Founder and is presented to individuals who exhibit exceptional personal achievements in all 5 Generations Values. They establish mentorship connections with staff members and play a key role in the campus-wide alignment with our mission statement. “Bringing Generations together in the joy of living and everything it means to be human”.

This award celebrates Kristin and her 10 years of dedicated service to Fairfield Village and Generations. She exemplifies commitment, compassion, and teamwork, often leading by example. Kristin actively engages with staff, residents, and families, prioritizing people first. Her exceptional work ethic and respect among colleagues make her a notable figure deserving of this recognition. 🌠💕
