๐Ÿ” This Saturday: Military Mastery Through Time โ€“ FOOD!

What did soldiers eat in the 1800s? How did WWII troops fuel themselves overseas? What traditions and foods have connected service members throughout history?

Join us THIS SATURDAY for a unique day exploring the role of food in military life: from pre-1900 recipes and wartime rations to modern military dining and traditions.
History isn't just something we read about; sometimes it's something we can taste.

We hope you'll join us for this fun and flavorful day of history, community, and conversation.

๐Ÿ“œ Oregon History

On July 5, 1843, settlers in Oregon Country established the first provisional government at Champoeg, laying important groundwork for what would eventually become the State of Oregon.

At the time, the future of the Pacific Northwest was still uncertain. The decision to form a provisional government helped create structure, leadership, and a sense of shared purpose for the growing community.

Today, Champoeg remains an important chapter in Oregon's story; a reminder that the state's history was shaped by people working together to build something that would last for generations.

History isn't just found in faraway places. Some of the most important moments happened right here in Oregon.
