Yesterday, PAAC had the opportunity to attend the Someone Showed Up conference at Ohio University Chillicothe — a powerful day centered on strengthening prevention through Positive Childhood Experiences.

We spent the day learning, listening and connecting with others who are passionate about supporting youth and families across Southern Ohio.

One message stood out: showing up matters. Consistency, compassion, and connection can change lives.💚

Grateful to be part of these conversations and to bring what we learned back to our community.

We are proud to be attending the Someone Showed Up Southern Ohio Prevention Conference today alongside prevention professionals, educators, and community leaders from across the region.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to learn, connect, and strengthen our work in supporting the youth and families of Pickaway County. Together, prevention matters.💚
