Yesterday felt like holy ground. We were blessed to baptize 7 people!!! Seven people making public confessions of the deep work Jesus has already begun within them. Seven lives stepping into their apprenticeship with Jesus, learning to walk in His ways, His Mercy, His Authority, His Power, His Love.

Seven. A number of completion. A number of wholeness. A reminder that God finishes what He starts.

And yet… Lord, we ask for more!!!

More hearts awakened!
More stories redeemed!
More chains broken!
More families restored!
More courage to say “yes” to You!
More of Your Spirit moving through our church and our city!

Thank You for what You did yesterday. Thank You for every life made new. Thank You for letting us witness Your goodness up close.

But Father….don’t stop.
Complete what You’ve begun.
Make us whole.
Make our city whole.
Make Your people burn with love for Jesus.

We’re ready for whatever You want to do next.

A Heat Advisory is in effect in the area from June 30th at noon until July 2nd at 8 PM. Below are several tips to beat the heat this week:

- Drink plenty of water
- Stay in air conditioned spaces
- Limit outdoor activity
- Wear sunscreen & light clothing

Anyone in need of cool indoor space, please visit the local cooling center: Vineyard Church 911 S. Pickaway Street. Expected cooling center hours are 2-6 pm this Tuesday - Friday.

If you are fortunate enough to volunteer or donate, please visit or call at 740-248-5117. They are accepting hygiene supplies, popsicles, bottled water, and fans.
