In The Athletic's anonymous player poll in April, Haliburton was voted "Most Overrated" by his peers. And he's been on an absolute tear ever since.

Coincidence? Well the fact that Haliburton tweeted "Overrate THAT" after his series-clinching game winner against the Bucks in Round 1 would seem to suggest otherwise.

Haliburton took the unflattering title personally.

But is that still what's motivating Hali in the Eastern Conference Finals? We may not know until he gets his own "Last Dance" style documentary someday.

One thing is clear though -- if any Knicks players voted for him in that poll, they're surely regretting it now.
