Meet our (literal) rockstar, Nolan! 🎸

Nolan is one of Cobblestone’s longest-tenured bartenders. Tbh he has been around for so long we’re fairly certain he either lives here somewhere or at least has squatters’ rights in the tunnels downstairs.

When he’s not behind the bar making drinks and making friends, you can find him playing with his band, Nameless Faceless, or slinging drinks at Nice Life OTR on Saturdays. Somehow he still finds time to perfect his signature move: spinning an Angry Orchard bar key on his finger like he’s auditioning for the world’s most niche talent show.

If you’ve met Nolan, you know he’s the kind of guy who can turn a quick drink into a two hour conversation, and a stranger into a friend.

Here’s a little Q&A with Nolan 👇

1. If your band had to name a cocktail after you, what would be in it? I think it would be an Irish mule - classic Jameson and Ginger beer

2. What’s your biggest bartending pet peeve? When people close out their tabs every time they get a drink (please just start one)

3. What’s more nerve-wracking, making a bartender a drink or playing in front of an audience? Playing in front of an audience, especially with a big solo/lead coming up

4. If you could only drink one cocktail and listen to one album for the rest of your life, what are they? Cocktail - Old Fashioned. Album - Aja by Steely Dan

5. What is the best drink at Cobble and why? I think the Honey I’m Smashed is delicious, the bourbon taste with the sweet peach and hot honey mixes to make a drink I can’t put down
