I often talk to my couples about how important it is to have your wedding day feel like you however it also needs to be cohesive with the venue you’ve selected. We are home from our NY wedding and headed into another beautiful wedding week filled with all things garden party al fresco, aka our jam 🙌🏼 Throwing it back to our last wedding there a few weeks ago celebrating C + D with and and my favorite drape color yet, a soft sage green tone from ✨

I’m currently obsessing over all the gorgeous spring greens that are bursting to life outside. Green is one of my favorite colors, but when it comes to incorporating green tones into a wedding day palette it has to be the *right* green, if you know what I mean 😬 Lucky for me, we have clients that fully trust our judgement in choosing that perfect shade 🙌🏼

It’s tulip season around here, one of my favorite times of year. I often tell people that tulips are one of the most underrated flower, because most folks don’t realize that tulips (like this beauty) open up to so much more than what their tight buds start out as. This tulip is what we call a “double” tulip meaning it has double the amount of petals and opens up to the size of a peony!! Our next four weddings will all have gorgeous varieties of tulips as they’re at their glorious peak in Spring!

This year we have some fun pink weddings and it has me thinking about the hundreds of shades that pink flowers come in. One of my all time favorite pink bouquets were these for Natalie and her ladies featuring the crowd favorite - bohemian mocha lisianthus, the perfect shade of dusty rose pink in my opinion and with a fun dark chocolate center 🙌🏼
