Morchella Knits

Introducing our new name, Morchella Knits! The last few months I have been narrowing down exactly what I want to do moving forward and where I see this business going. The Olivia Lane name has served us well, especially in a time where I was unsure of what exactly my “niche” was going to be.

Morchella is the scientific name of the morel mushroom. This fits perfectly with the earthy vibe I love and want to create in my work, and with my desire to use only natural fibers moving forward.

As far as what I will be offering and what this account will be… I am focusing more on baby knits, but will still offer some other products, such as potholders, adult size hats, and washcloths. This account will be a place to share any and all knitting content, any new products in my shop, and a bit of daily life stuff mixed in.

I want to thank each one of you for following along on my journey and for your continued support. I hope that this account and community continues to grow in this new direction!

Another finished sweater, just in time for summer 🤣 This was a test knit, and it’s so soft and cozy!

Getting caught up, because I forget to post to Facebook. The beloved emotional support chicken 😂 I had made several of the crochet version last year, but didn’t enjoy making them. Tried the knitted version and it was actually quite fun! These are much bigger than the ones I had previously made, so I may try making a smaller option as well.

Still need to get more pictures of this, but I recently finished my first sweater! It was so fun to knit and I love that I can now wear something that I made myself.

I’ve got a lot of exciting projects going on right now, but one I’m working on are some cute little baby bows! I’m hoping to have some in my Etsy shop soon and for markets this year.
