They’ve been around the city as part of the Collecting: Classical to Contemporary Art from the University of Cincinnati exhibit at the Contemporary Arts Center and are now sailing back home to DAAP! ⚓️
Domesticus Nature Morte presents the collaborative work of Nathan Gorgen and Molly Jo Burke of Byproduct Studios. Their practice is deeply intertwined with family life, material reuse, and playful transformation.
Blending structured digital fabrication and woodworking with intuitive glass and ceramic processes, Gorgen and Burke create work that reflects on memory, nostalgia, and the passage of time. Studio remnants and everyday materials are thoughtfully reworked into meticulously crafted pieces that blur the boundary between functional and fantastical.
We invite you to experience this thoughtful and playful exhibition in person.
