One in two Cincinnati families struggles to afford diapers.

Last Month, our Helping on Chai volunteers packed over 6,000 diapers for Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank, and the ripple effect of that work is real.

Sweet Cheeks distributes about 2.5 million diapers each year to families in need, because every person deserves access to the basics.

These women gave their afternoon. Families across our city will feel it.

The next volunteer event is June 18! Check out the link below to get involved.

Happy Mother’s Day! 💙

Today is the last day to support Cincinnati’s Largest Baby Shower.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day, you can make a gift in honor of a mother or caregiver in your life while helping local families facing diaper need.

We’re just over $10,000 away from our $100,000 goal. Help us close the gap before the day ends!

No parent should have to worry about running out of diapers, yet for many families in our community, that worry is a reality. Your support helps provide babies with the essentials they need to stay clean, dry, and healthy.

Help us finish strong and make a lasting impact for families across our community before the day ends.

St. Vincent de Paul highlights growing needs for local mothers 04/28/2026

Mother’s Day is just around the corner! In this Cincinnati Refined feature, Kaytlynd and Lydia share how, for many moms in our community, providing essentials like children’s clothing can be a real challenge. At St. Vincent de Paul, we see how quickly those everyday needs add up and how much of a difference community support can make. Donating gently used or new children’s clothing helps families stretch their budgets and ensures kids have the basics they need to grow, learn, and thrive.

Diapers can also be a major challenge for many families. They are expensive, needed every day, and cannot be purchased with SNAP benefits. Through Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank, community support helps provide this essential resource to parents and caregivers across our region. A gift to Cincinnati’s Largest Baby Shower helps local moms and caregivers access the diapers they need. We’ve already reached the $70,000 mark. Help us get to $100,000 before Mother’s Day so even more families across our region can receive support.

Watch this week’s Cincinnati Refined feature to learn more about how you can help moms in our community access the essentials they need.

What's Happening in Health: March 29, 2026 04/16/2026

We’re thankful to Liz Bonis Local 12 News and What’s Happening in Health for highlighting something that is often overlooked: diapers are not just a household expense. They are a health need.

Without enough diapers, babies can be more vulnerable to painful rashes and infections, creating even more stress for families already trying to make ends meet. Diaper need can also affect access to childcare and work stability, since many childcare providers require families to bring their own diapers.

In fact, 1 in 4 parents and caregivers with diaper need reported missing work or school, and those who missed work reported an average of 5.1 workdays in a month.

That is why Sweet Cheeks matters, and why Cincinnati’s Largest Baby Shower matters. With support from Perfetti Van Melle, our community is working toward a $100,000 goal to support diaper access for families across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
