This big old Book has flown around the sun another year, and for you "BOOK II" fans it feels good to say we've got something in the works just for you.
The library is slowly adding new formats to its collection, so all you collectors out there stay tuned (and hang onto your library cards)...
Strange days are coming. 📚
In the meantime we always love to hear which tunes stick out to you after all this time.
What story do YOU like the best?
The title track has that classic ObNO "big finish" feeling that we love so much, feel free to check in below with your favorites or any life updates you've got for the Book band.
Keep on loving music, tomorrow is today's new home.
P.S. You can also check out the story so far over on our Bandcamp, where you can get all our Books digitally for a discount. 📖📖

Ten years ago, today, we played the first ever Others by No One show. 📖🕙
Every year it's been nice to look back and commemorate an all-time great day in our lives, but something about a decade always hits different. A decade ago we (that is Max, Michael, Quique, & Sam) were tired from partying with pizzas and Super Smash Bros, but you can hardly blame us for having fun with our fast friends in NATIVE CONSTRUCT – the inspirational group of nerds spending the night at our place, and that we'd be opening for at our first performance that night.
After a couple hours of sleep we hurried over to the original rehearsal space (seen in the last picture, from our first photoshoot) for a quick runthrough of the set – HAKEN bassist Conner Green would drop by to buy a ticket and was kind enough to jam a Dream Theater classic "The Mirror" with us before packing up and heading to a staple of the scene at the time, Rockstar Pro Arena.
The rest, as we shall say, is history.
Many notes were played that fateful night, most of ours too fast, and some even might say they're still playing today. To celebrate, here's a never before seen video of the final moments from our first gig: watch us pull a cheesy '80s ending for the first song we ever worked on together, the anime anthem "Oni-Chan!!"
Thank you, as always, for continuing to read.
No one had any idea the impact our music would have, including on ourselves, in the ten years since, or the directions all our Bookworms would go in – the original group each live in different parts of the country now – but one nerdy proggy day, once upon a decade gone, this part of our journey started.
As Max said just before hitting the first notes of our set ten years ago:
"We are OTHERS BY NO ONE – and welcome to the weird progressive spectacle of the century!"
Setlist:
Gravity of the Bulls
Bloodmeat [Protest the Hero cover]
Brand-New Remedy
Oni-Chan!!

This year marks a decade of your Book band playing live shows. 📖
Ten years ago we finally jumped into making ObNO our main focus - then known as "Unicorn Drama" - after a solid year of writing weird music together in Mike's dad's basement. A couple months later a young drummer found us on Craigslist and the rest is history. 📜
Six months in we played our first gig with Native Construct and began diving into our first Book together. Thank you, as always, for continuing to read. 📚

You made it through January. If you don't hear it anywhere else today, know the Book band is proud. 📖
This is how we feel! AHHHHHH! And yet, the music continues... On we write, for the act of creation is itself victory in these troubled times.
If you don't hear it anywhere else today, don't stop making things.
Also: this pic is from our first time ever playing "A Reverie to Quell the Giants" onstage.
"And on we drive, they cannot stop us with hearts alive." 📚
