At Cincinnati Sound Chorus, we come for the music but stay for the friendships. 💜

Last night brought plenty of laughter thanks to Alice’s fun music shoes, a street sign, and stickers courtesy of Holly—plus a little unplanned color coordination from longtime friends who somehow showed up dressed like they planned it all along!

These small moments remind us that while we come together to sing, we stay for the friendships, memories, and connections that make our chorus feel like family.

🎉 WE’RE GOING TO INTERNATIONAL! 🎉

Cincinnati Sound Chorus has officially received and accepted our Wildcard Bid to the 2027 Sweet Adelines International - SingUnited International Competition in Seattle, Washington! 🌟

After achieving our highest-scoring regional contest performance this past March, we entered the waiting game alongside choruses around the world. We watched the scores roll in weekend after weekend, studied the numbers, built spreadsheets, and followed every regional contest to see where we would land.

And after the dust settled… WE MADE IT! 💜💙

This is an exciting milestone for our chorus, and we could not be more proud of what our singers have accomplished together. To our members: well done, YOU. You showed up to rehearsals. You put in the personal practice time. You trusted the process. You earned this moment.

As we begin preparing our international contest package, we’ll continue leaning on our incredible supporters, fans, friends, and family who cheer us on every step of the way. Your encouragement means the world to us, and we can’t wait to represent our region on the international stage in Seattle in October 2027!

💜 Leadership Award – Angie A.
A true friend, mentor, and the heart and soul of CSC. Angie leads with wisdom, kindness, and unwavering dedication, inspiring each of us to grow stronger together. Her influence is felt in every note we sing and every connection we build.

💚 CSC Courage Award – Jill C.
Jill embodies perseverance and strength. This year, our chorus stood behind her before, during, and after her kidney transplant journey, and through it all, she showed remarkable courage and grace. Her resilience reminds us what it means to lean on one another and rise together.
