Cincinnati Computer Reuse is proud to have signed the Hamilton County Sustainability Pledge to reduce solid waste in our area. One pledge can do a ton of good. We will fulfill our pledge by initiating a pilot program to serve students in grades 5-8 who need access to a computer at home for schoolwork. Cincinnati Earth Day was a huge success! 🌎
Our booth stayed busy all day—we handed out over 200 flyers and had the chance to connect with so many people in the community. We spoke with folks who still have unused computer equipment sitting in garages, basements, and closets, and it was great to share how those items can be put to good use.
We were especially encouraged by the number of people who were excited to learn about our mission, and even more so by those who stopped by just to thank us for the computers they’ve received from us. That kind of support means everything.
A sincere thank you to our board members, who staffed the booth, and to the Earth Day committee for organizing such a fantastic event and making it all possible!
Overall, we felt a strong sense of community and encouragement throughout the day.
