🌟📚 Finneytown Educator Named Civic Star Challenge Winner! 📚🌟

Congratulations to Elijah Fenwick-Sanders of Finneytown Secondary Campus for being named a Civic Star Challenge winner, a nationwide initiative from the Bill of Rights Institute and iCivics!

Elijah is one of just 63 educators across the country recognized for bringing the themes of the Declaration of Independence to life in the classroom as part of the lead-up to America’s 250th anniversary.

In his U.S. History classes, students explored America’s founding documents and even wrote their own “Declarations of Independence,” applying these powerful ideas to their own lives. This meaningful, real-world learning experience encouraged students to think critically about civic responsibility and their role in shaping the future.

We are incredibly proud of Elijah for inspiring our Wildcats and helping students connect history to the world around them. Please join us in congratulating him on this outstanding national recognition! 💙🐾
