Day One- Beyond the Vision Board kicked off today and with any event I host - there is excitement, nerves and a sense of curiosity of the unfolding.

As I launched this online community (outside of this platform and ya’ll that alone makes me giddy) ... I got to see the BEST LAID plans pivot as life happend, reminding me of the work I get to do both for myself and for my clients. It is by no accident that this is where I found myself for this launch. In the dance - of life - in the work all while holding a bigger vision for myself and for others.

To celebrate this launch, I’m hosting a complimentary three day event (thank you for the patience as the date changed - which was much needed).

I was in college. Taking 19 credit hours, volunteering for the local mentoring scheme (I still keep in touch with my sweet “lil sister”, working as a teaching assistant and working as many hours as possible to pay my way through college.
You guessed it -
It was enough of a burnout and a total crash that I took the a break the following semester. I chose two classes a psychology class and a children’s literature class (which later served me well as a mom).
I called this semester break - “Project Star.”
I was shamed for it “You’ll become a dropout loser.”
Those words still sting a bit
It was the first time I truly trusted myself. It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. It was work. Inner work. And a shedding of the narratives and opinions of those I thought I could count on.
It was the start of me honoring my own needs. That time out later took me to Australia (we’ll save that story for another time).

My Friend. I still return to stages of project Star - returning to my own inner guidance, self care and self preservation.
