Goodbye is never really goodbye, it is only see you later! At the end of June, Bishop Joe and David will be leaving their ministerial positions here at St. John Neumann.
Please join us at the Parish Picnic on Friday, June 10th at Stricker’s Grove, to say farewell to Bishop Joe and David as we come together as a parish family.

We are very grateful for the time he has been at Corpus Christi and St. John Neumann leading our parishes.
We are putting together a book of personal messages to Bishop Joe. If you would like to contribute, please take a special page (found in the Gathering Space) and write a note to Bishop Joe. Return your note to the marked basket in the Gathering Space, mail it or bring it to the Parish Office by Monday, June 13th. Letters can be emailed to [email protected] or [email protected].

St. Anthony of Padua once said: “the life of the body is the soul, and the life of the soul is God.” In prayer we nourish our relationship with God and he enlivens and nourishes our souls, such that this loving relationship informs everything we do in life. Seek the Lord and pray without ceasing. Evening prayer, or Vespers, is prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours. Through this daily prayer of psalms, hymns, and petitions, the Church breathes the life of prayer throughout the year, and sanctifies every moment so that the Body of Christ is in constant communion with our God. Come sing and experience this beautiful, life-changing form of prayer that our Church gives to us, followed by a small concert of Sacred Music drawn from the richness of our heritage, both old and new.

Join us at St. John the Baptist on Tuesday, March 22 for the third evening of the Lenten Mission series. John Leyendecker and Dave Staples from the School of Faith, will take us through the Triduum of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday, guiding us on how to more prayerfully participate in Christ's sacrifice on Calvary at the Mass, especially in this most sacred time of the Church year.
