Last week was a bit unusual, which means we missed our 4th Wednesday Book Beat gathering. So tonight we’re making up for it with a special double-feature evening featuring BOTH Fiber Arts and Book Beat!

Whether you’re looking to curl up with a good book, chat about what you’re reading, knit a few rows, learn to crochet, work on a sewing project, or simply enjoy a quiet evening in community, tonight is for you.

No RSVP needed. Just come as you are and join us for an evening of books, fiber arts, creativity, and community.

Hayes and Erin are ready to hang out tonight with our youth (12-17) and young adult (18-24) groups. Parents and allies are welcome to attend with room to hang out while our youth and young adults enjoy time to connect and build community.

Join us 5-8pm at 1639, grab a snack, enjoy some art, zine making, community building, and safe space to just be!

This Friday is a little different!

Because it’s the 5th Friday of the month, we won’t have our usual scheduled groups. Instead, we’re opening our doors from 4:00-7:00 PM for Open Hours and inviting our entire community to simply come be together.

Need a quiet place to work on homework? Want to crochet, read, watch a movie, use the WiFi, play a game, enjoy a snack, or just spend time with community? This space is for you.

Staff will be present to supervise the space, but there is no formal programming. Come and go during open hours, connect with others, or simply take a moment to breathe and recharge.

All ages are welcome.
