Tri-State Organ Repair

As an update to my previous post and seeing all the bad CANCER news in my FB feed, I’d like to share some good…

Last Thanksgiving, I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma inside my cheek, stage 3 cancer that had spread to nearby lymph nodes.

It has been weeks of emotional and physical challenges focused on treatment and healing. This week, after surgery and testing 25 lymph nodes, I received the news that I am CANCER FREE.

I’m incredibly grateful. Not everyone gets to share this kind of outcome, and I don’t take that lightly.

I also want to acknowledge my wife and our two daughters. I may have handled this quietly and without much outward emotion, but I know they carried a heavier emotional burden than I did. I’m incredibly thankful for their strength and support.

One part of my treatment that made a major difference was immunotherapy. It helped shrink the tumor significantly before surgery and played a huge role in the success of my outcome. The advancements in this type of treatment are remarkable, and I truly believe it represents the future of how we fight cancer and improve survival rates.

If there’s one thing I’d encourage anyone reading this: don’t ignore symptoms. Get checked. Ask questions. Advocate for yourself. Medicine has come a long way, there are options that didn’t exist even a decade ago.

I’m thankful for my doctors, my family and friends, and for everyone who has supported me and my family — whether you knew what was happening or not.

I’m healing, I’m grateful, and I’m looking forward to getting fully back to work and life.

Surgery went well this week and I’m home and already recovering. I’ll need a little time to heal, so my schedule will be lighter for a short while, but I’m doing well and looking forward to getting back to work soon.

I consider many of my customers friends, and I know a lot of you have been thinking about me and reaching out—so I wanted to share that I’m honestly doing well and will be back to helping very soon.
