Pretty Mean

No easy way to say it, but our time playing as Pretty Mean has come to an end. While the disagreements run aplenty, one common denominator that remains is how deeply sad each of us are to have to say goodbye. The amount of love and support you all have given us over the years means the absolute world!! This music community is overflowing with incredibly talented and genuine people. We are grateful to have been a small part of it and we are lucky to have been able to share our art with you in the ways we did. We sincerely want to thank anyone who came to our shows, who listened to or shared our music, and we want to send big love to all the rad bands who have asked us to play shows with them. We're really going to miss playing our music. As for the future, we'll keep you posted on other projects - when one door closes another opens, yadda yadda. I'm personally hoping to turn some of this grief and frustration into something beautiful. On another personal note, what I've learned from this experience is to unabashedly cherish the good things you have, grip onto them really really tightly and do all you can to keep it good. But don't be afraid when it's time to let go. And f**k the rest. Long live Cincinnati music.
