Dr. King didn’t call us to comfort.

Today, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by choosing courage over apathy, truth over silence, and love that demands action. May we be the kind of people who carry the dream forward, especially when it feels hardest to do so.

Juneteenth is more than a historical date, it’s a mirror reflecting the work still left to do.

We celebrate, but we also organize. We honor, but we also interrogate. Because liberation isn’t real if it doesn’t reach our healthcare systems, our birthing rooms, and our policies.

This Juneteenth, we ask:
❗Who still isn’t free?
❗What truths are still being delayed?

Too often, Black mothers are expected to make medical decisions without clear information, without time to process, and without emotional support.

That’s not just frustrating; it can also be dangerous.

This tool is designed to help you slow down and ask the right questions when you’re in the exam room:
