Cincinnati has been named one of MovieMaker Magazine’s Best Places to Live and Work as a Moviemaker in 2026, earning the No. 15 spot among major cities across the United States and Canada, according to the magazine’s Winter 2026 issue.

The recognition reinforces Cincinnati’s national reputation as a film-friendly city that delivers professional infrastructure, competitive
incentives, and high quality of life for filmmakers.

We’re thrilled to announce that David Hinojosa will be joining us at Cineposium!

David Hinojosa is an Academy Award®-nominated producer behind Past Lives, winner of the Gotham and Independent Spirit Awards’ Best Feature, with BAFTA, Golden Globe, and PGA nominations. As Founding Partner and Head of Production at 2AM, he has produced acclaimed films including Bodies Bodies Bodies, Babygirl and The Brutalist, and recently reteamed with Celine Song on Materialists. Formerly at Killer Films, his credits include Vox Lux, Still Alice, Carol, Beatriz at Dinner, Zola and First Reformed. His work has premiered at Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Toronto, and Sundance. He is a member of the Producers Guild of America, Producers United, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, and lectures at NYU Tisch.
