Had the opportunity to take some photos of one of my favorite musician this weekend. I took some pics of him back in November when he opened for Mat Kearney & I was honored to make art of his art for his headline tour. Check out Steinza if you haven’t heard his music before.

This session started with quiet smiles but ended with uncontrollable laughter and silly (and very untraditional) poses that the youngest two were orchestrating ➡️ swipe to the end to see my favorite silly one 😂 .

This was truly one of those sessions where laughter stole the spotlight. I am so grateful when families are able to connect with me and allow their true personalities to be captured. I had so much fun photographing this crew 🤍

I prescheduled this post so I can stay off my phone and be fully present with my family, but I didn’t want the day to pass without saying thank you. Thank you to every client who trusted me to document your moments this year- from holiday cards to the images you’re gifting today or the ones hanging on your walls while you cherish new moments. And thank you to everyone who supports my work, even if it’s simply through encouragement, liking, sharing, recommending me to someone or cheering me on from the sidelines.

This has been my most successful year yet, even with everything happening in the world and the economy, and I’m truly grateful. I couldn’t have grown without all of you.

Christmas sessions with pets always bring so much personality, but this one was extra special because it was my first cat in the studio. This sweet couple came in with their dogs and their cat, and they filled the space with so much love and laughter. The pets kept us moving, but they also gave us the calmest little moments that made the session feel unforgettable.

These are the memories I love capturing most. The real, unscripted, joy filled moments that make the holidays feel warm and full. ❤️🎄
