This doesn’t mean anything if we’re not willing to go above and beyond to truly change the narrative—especially when so much effort has been put into programming us to survive under these conditions. That’s why I believe it’s important to make positive conversations and actions the standard, not the exception.

The reality is, a lot of what we see online is just talk. It’s not moving the needle. If anything, things are getting worse. That’s why I’ve been intentionally reaching out to local entrepreneurs—here and worldwide—to network, connect, build, grow, and unite as one. That’s also why I reached out to you about partnering.

But too often, we let ego get in the way. We start thinking we’re better than the next person. When someone shuts you down—whether the intention is negative or “positive”—and then later speaks on the same topic publicly, it feels hypocritical. No disrespect, but as a culture, we have to start somewhere.

We tend to belittle one another even when someone is trying to do something constructive—sometimes disguising it as motivation or positivity—when in reality it’s often about views, sales, or optics. Very few people are genuinely willing to risk their comfort to help build a better future.

Real change requires sacrifice. You have to be willing to risk everything—your comfort, your security, even your stability—to stand for something bigger than yourself. This is definitely a conversation worth having, but it goes far beyond words.

It’s bigger than a city. Bigger than a neighborhood. Bigger than where we’re from.

Everybody loves to support a celebrity they’ll never meet… but won’t show the same love to the people they grew up with.

Truth is: support hits different when it’s from the start.
When you show love early, you’re not just liking a post — you’re helping someone build a dream, change their life, and represent where you come from.

Stop waiting until they “make it.”
Stop pretending you don’t see the grind.
Stop acting like strangers deserve more applause than your own people.

Support your people from the beginning.
That early push, that early share, that early buy — that’s what creates success stories, not celebrity hype.

Real community wins come from real support.
