There are eight gardens in Walnut Hills where residents can meet and grow their own food.
Part of the Taft Garden is reserved for Alms Apartments residents and others living nearby.
A portion of the harvests are donated to neighborhood partners at Queen City Kitchen, at Church of the Advent, La Soupe & FRIDAY FOOD + FUN.
The urban ag network and composting infrastructure were built due to the generosity of HGC Construction, SSRG, Hamilton County R3Source, and numerous corporate, educational & individual volunteers donating their time & funding.

HEALTH & WELLNESS
Our collaborations with health organizations and partners grew dramatically in 2021.
Dr Anna Goroncy and her UC | Christ Hospital Family Medicine Residency are embedded in Walnut Hills. They have assisted neighbors with COVID-19 testing and vaccines. And volunteered in the Grow 06 gardens. Anna started the Walnut Hills Area Council’s Health Committee with Equitas Health.

Esoteric Brewing Company hosts the Walnut Hills Run Club every Wednesday at 6p.
