The future of the CROWN is taking shape along the Mill Creek.
Join our friends at the Mill Creek Alliance for Canoes and Conversations on Saturday, June 6, from 9 AM–12 PM at the Yellow Bridge in South Cumminsville.
Choose from guided bike rides, canoe trips, hikes, fishing activities, and more while exploring ongoing efforts to reconnect people and neighborhoods to the Mill Creek, create new opportunities for recreation and transportation, and strengthen connections throughout the Mill Creek Valley.
Tri-State Trails will lead a bike ride through Northside and South Cumminsville, highlighting existing and future trail connections, including the future Mill Creek Greenway and western section of the CROWN. Along the route, local historian Sean Andres will share the story of Peter and Sarah Fossett at the historic First Baptist Church of Cumminsville—abolitionists, Underground Railroad conductors, educators, and community leaders whose legacy helped shape both the neighborhood and Cincinnati's history.
Come meet the neighbors, advocates, elected officials, and partners helping move these projects forward.
Registration is required.

The final westward extension of Wasson Way (Phase 7) is moving forward, with construction expected to begin later this year!
Cincinnati DOTE was awarded this funding through OKI Regional Council of Governments in 2020 in partnership with the CROWN Cincinnati Capital Campaign. The project will extend Wasson Way Project further into Avondale, connecting Blair Ct to the intersection of MLK Dr and Reading Rd.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Tri-State Trails has contributed $3.3 million in CROWN funds to the City Of Cincinnati, leveraging more than $11.7 million in federal and state grants since 2019 to complete Wasson Way.
We’re excited to see this transformational trail continue to connect neighborhoods and expand safe, accessible transportation and recreation options across Cincinnati.
