Our first month of MOVEMENT group fit is done! We tackled the hips, pelvis and spine last month. Folks learned about controlling individual elements of their bodies as well as how to maintain control as we pull everything together and begin to load the body.

Next up- mobility to help with the overhead position! Join us on Wednesday evenings or Sunday afternoons.

First class free, link in bio!

Intensity is required in training, but intensity isn’t always heavy load.

Eccentric shoulder work with light to moderate weight with the intention to increase shoulder rotation strength, something we all need for healthy shoulders!

Please join me in welcoming our newest coach, Brandon Larson, to Prevail!

Brandon has been in health and fitness since 2011. Having first started working at a sports performance clinic in college, his main area of interest has always been how to get the most out of the body with a focus on injury prevention and post-rehabilitation work. He has since learned how to take the same principles working with athletes and apply it to helping clients of all ability levels get the most out of their bodies. He is a big believer in the value of helping clients build consistency and strives to help all his clients not only reach their goals, but help them reach a healthier homeostasis.

“Coming from the Seattle area, I’m a big fan of spending time outside. I spend most weekends with my fiance, Valerie, and my dog, Maddy, exploring Cincinnati’s trails and parks. I really enjoy the bike trails in Ohio (especially how flat they are). I like to get out and try the local breweries in the area, go to pretty much any local sporting event, and getting out to see live music. See you at the gym!”
