Multiple rounds of rainfall are expected from the early morning hours Wednesday through Wednesday night.

Be prepared for rises in creeks and streams, along with renewed flooding issues.

R is for Ropes & Technical Systems.

Creek banks, embankments, and uneven terrain can turn into high-risk environments. Rope systems help manage slopes safely—but the public takeaway is simpler: don’t let terrain quietly escalate.

Pro Tips:
• Avoid steep banks after rain; the ground is unstable.
• Don’t attempt rescues in moving water or on steep slopes without training.
• Call for help early—delay increases risk.

Our teams train for technical environments so we can respond without creating new victims.

P is for Power.

🪫 Phones, lights, GPS devices, and emergency alerts all require power. In extreme cold and heat, batteries can degrade. Keeping devices charged and carrying a small backup can be the difference between a quick resolution and a long search.

Power is preparedness you can’t see—until you need it.

✅️ Pack a small power bank on longer outings. It’s one of the simplest safety upgrades you can make.
