This NAIDOC Week, we join Australians in celebrating 50 years of honouring the rich histories, cultures, achievements and enduring contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The 2026 theme, “50 Years of Deadly,” celebrates five decades of recognising the strength, resilience and excellence of the world’s oldest continuing cultures. It’s a time to reflect on how far we’ve come, acknowledge the journey still ahead, and continue listening, learning and walking together with respect.

Spending time outdoors reminds us to appreciate the beauty of Country and the importance of caring for the places that connect us all.
