IFEA Members & Chico State Students,

As you all know, our 2nd Annual Step Into Sustainability Event was to take place tomorrow, Wednesday March 21st in Trinity Commons from 11am-3pm.

Due to unforeseen weather circumstances, it is with much regret that we are CANCELLING the event. Alternatives were explored for other venues, but unfortunately did not fall through. The expected rain would have surfaced many issues for the event operations that we were not willing to risk.

We are very thankful for all the help that our fellow IFEA members, Student Life & Leadership, SOTA, and the live sound class have provided in the planning process for this event. We could not have done it without such great teamwork and cooperation! We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to anyone.


We will be holding a meeting TOMORROW night during our regular time, 7pm-8pm to further discuss the cancellation. Please join us.

As we all know, event planning is filled with surprises and unfortunate circumstances such as these. We will be sure to brainstorm plans to prevent this from occurring at our future events.
