Today, law enforcement officers across our community and members of our county fire department came together for the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run — carrying the “Flame of Hope” to raise awareness, inclusion, and support for Special Olympics athletes.

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities, creating opportunities for confidence, connection, leadership, and community through athletics.

We were proud to stand alongside the athletes, families, volunteers, and agencies who continue to show what acceptance and teamwork really look like. The energy, encouragement, and heart behind this event is something special.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is considered the largest grassroots fundraiser and awareness campaign for Special Olympics worldwide.
