Chico Kiwanas Club had the great pleasure of having our CKI, Cirlce K International Captital Division Lt. Govenor to our monthly breakfast meeting at Beatnicks, David Duy Ngo, represeting North Regions, CKI putting in over 30,000 hours of community service this year to date! As a Community Based non profit, it is annual year Grants such as Rabobank, our second allocation within the last two years that allow us to continue in our efforts supporting our local,at -risk seniors and early intervention into the Jr.High Schools as well. Habitat For Humanity came as a guest at Chico's Kiwanas Club, one of JLDP's partners, where our students joined previously helping low income folks build affordable homes! They are celebrating 25 Years! Completed 10 houses from 1996 to 2006. Just this year, by 2019, their first mortgage will be paid off..Congratulations to all!
