Congratulations to our National Sales Team for placing 3rd at the AT&T National Sales Competition! Our students were exposed to a whole new industry that expanded their knowledge of technology and it's advancements.

This has been a challenging journey full of growth, professional development, and excitement. Thank you to our partners at AT&T for implementing a strong learning environment for our students, while also sharing your passion of perseverance, strategy, and fun!

Glenn Hall felt a little more alive last week, thanks to a visit from Jordan Carroll, (BA Marketing ’13). Jordan stopped by for a few days to speak with marketing students about emotional intelligence in sales and life.

When asked what the biggest lesson college taught him, Jordan replied, “patience in the macro sense. It’s going to take time to get where you want to be. Be patient in this process of elimination in figuring out what you want to do.”

Jordan was very involved when he was going to school, juggling multiple jobs, classes, and extracurricular activities. In addition to his involvement with the Chico State Sales Team, Jordan helped found the social fraternity Pi Kappa Alpha; he was a member of the Sustainability Club, Young Americans for Liberty, Omega, and more! Upon graduation, Jordan took an analytical software sales role at IBM. Jordan played an important role in fostering a relationship with IBM and the Seufferlein Sales Program. Since then Jordan has started his own brand that aims to help professionals who are committed to establishing a successful and meaningful career while traveling.
