Chico Chai

Hi everyone! If you’ve been by the chaihouse lately, you may have noticed that I haven’t been around. I recently had to have some unexpected surgery. I’m out of the hospital now, resting and recovering at home (if you know me, you know rest isn’t my natural state, so this is a good challenge😉).

While I was in the hospital, it was such a gift to know that my team could have everything covered, from grinding spices, to events to deliveries to serving cups of tea, they could keep it going. They covered my shifts and filled in the gaps without question. This is a rarity for a truly small business. I’m incredibly lucky to have a team that truly cares about our guests, the business and about me. Team Chai is the absolute BEST.

This has been a really difficult week for our Chico community, and I considered not sharing this, but at the same time, I believe that gratitude should always be shared.
