Finishing this EP has become more overwhelming than I had originally anticipated.
I want it to encompass so much emotion and point of view. It started as passive way to illustrate my transformation and transition from a recent life changing relationship that lead to the relationship I formed with my new found companion and soulmate, River. River was taken from me and this planet(to my knowledge) at the start of this year. So needless to say, this EP has taken on a new meaning. I have the songs written for the most part. I just keep getting bombarded by grief and uncertainty. I want to bring you the best iteration of love and lust, loathing, the low that got us to the high, our journeys as soul mates falling deeper in love with each other. I'm pretty close to that goal. it's just this EP has become more overwhelming than I had originally anticipated. I promise to finish what I started no matter the discomfort and emotional roadblocks I have encountered. Part of me is so lost I wish it had been me instead of him. I'd take that trade any day or night. We had so much fun and love to share for it all to vanish. I just want to project those emotions accordingly as they are rooted in my soul.
