bad things happen when good men keep thier mouths shut
becareful when you start to teach some one a lesson...if it isnt from your heart then perhaps it isnt worth learning and if it is with good intent then be warned that life has a way of turning tables and reversing roles and you might find yourself learning a lesson you never saw coming!
had to go through the laps i used looking for the lap causing scratches...ended up putting one lap out to pasture but resurrecting a very old and pre used tin lap...I basically "burnished" the entire surface of the lap. Seems to have worked wonders. No more jagged pits and scratches on the lap and it seems to be polishing...
having to recut the lower girdle facets i think they r called...angle was incorrect...also scratches were present and rounded edges
facets are polishing so I guess I must be doing something right-and Im using diamond paste etc rather than cerium oxide only because I dont have experience with cerium oxide although i have come to understand it is the preferred method for quartz
so far the revamped china machine is doing ok...and the pavillion seems decent enough
