Hello beautiful! Custom kitchen cart with walnut top.

. We are about to finish this kitchen remodel and could not be more excited. We reconfigured the layout to remove the peninsula which was choking off the circulation paths. Now we can fit a 13-foot island as the centerpiece of this cook’s kitchen. The walnut island is set off beautifully by the contrast of the white perimeter cabinetry. Counters come in this week and then the decorative backsplash and finish elements. Can’t wait!

This unused area adjacent to the kitchen used to house a smaller scale
furniture piece (as shown in last image). By removing it and adding this built-in pantry and bar, we
greatly increased the function in this small galley style kitchen. Nearing the finish line🤩

We have always loved taking inspiration from nature and so has this artist!

When we visited artist Wendy Martin .art in Savannah, GA, we immediately fell in love with her nature inspired artwork. So much so that we commissioned this two panel painting for above our custom kitchen banquette. I spy with my little eye a hidden deer, do you?

She also recently launched her own wallcovering and textile line - both reflecting natural elements, amazing scale and pattern. We could not be more obsessed with them.

The Streeterville project is just wrapping up. Our favorite part is the 9 feet of pantry storage we added in the empty dining nook adjacent to the U-shaped kitchen. Doing so makes the kitchen feel like it doubled in size and added so much function.

Artist Jessica Fields created this stunning landscape piece for us with her layered textures and exposed canvas.  It started with us asking our clients where they love to travel or landscapes that they have a heartfelt connection to.⠀

Our clients were both drawn to layered plains and low hills with one hailing from North Dakota and the other from Florida.  Jessica started with sketches marrying these two geographies together. Then these layers started to build in this textured and lively landscape.  ⠀

. That’s how we feel about this large-scale Tiger Eye print from the power-house trio Esostudio

Directly derived from one of their hand dyed textiles, the large, modern scale is a wow factor. The classic Shibori folding technique used gives their pattern a calming repetitive structure and laid back vibe. Perfect for this master bedroom.
