Chicago government waste costs taxpayers money. Before asking families to pay more, City Hall should prove it’s using every tax dollar wisely.

Here’s how we’ll cut waste, improve efficiency, and make government work better for Chicago.

WTTW reported this week that Chicago’s pension debt has climbed to more than $36 billion.

So while I make bottles for my daughter, let’s tackle one of the biggest issues facing Chicago. 🤯

Not every great idea has to cost billions. Sometimes it’s better lighting, outdoor seating, public art, and a place for neighbors to gather.

Let’s make it easier to build the kind of Chicago people actually want to be in.

250 years later, the work of self government continues.

America has never been perfect, but every generation has the opportunity and responsibility to leave our country a little better than they found it. Here in Chicago, that spirit of resilience has always defined us.

The best days of our city aren’t behind us. They’re still ahead of us, if we’re willing to build them together!

For a lot of families, childcare costs are right up there with rent or a mortgage.

We should stop pretending there isn’t anything we can do about it. I’d start by piloting new childcare partnerships in neighborhoods where families are feeling it the most, using underused public spaces we already own.

Test it, measure it, improve it, and expand what works.
