Attending the South Loop Safety and Security meeting with a packed house of very concerned residents. The increase in crime was the resounding concern and what the police, the community, and elected officials can do to make the neighborhood safer. Judges have a huge impact on what happens to offenders once they’re arrested, it’s important they understand these issues from all levels. I was surprised to find I was the only candidate from the 8th sub-circuit here listing to the people who lives are effected by these very serious issues. 👨🏼‍⚖️
