Weβre excited to welcome Sarah Roberts, MSW, LSW, to the Centered Therapy Chicago team.

Sarah works with adolescents, adults, and older children (11+) and brings a warm, grounded, and relational approach to therapy. She helps clients slow down, deepen their understanding of themselves, and explore the patterns that may be getting in the way of the life they want to live.
π
Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, OCD, identity exploration, life transitions, and trauma-related concerns. Drawing from insight-oriented, mindfulness-based, and experiential approaches, Sarah supports clients in building greater self-awareness while developing practical tools they can use in everyday life.

Elements of grief weave their way through our lives and our bodies as we navigate experiences of lossβ anticipated, sudden, cultural, ancestral, societal, or existential.

In this training, participants will explore the embodiment of grief and its impact on the nervous system, and learn methods of recognizing and nurturing embodied resourcing as a way of enduring grief with courage and curiosity.

This workshop will also address traumatic themes that emerge in loss, including grief-related anger, loss of safety, and loss of land for Indigenous communities, and the need to decolonize grief by honoring collective and communal healing.

Through mindfulness practices, guided meditation, and creative reflection, youβll leave with a tangible, inspirational vision board.
